A–Z public limited editions (azple.com for short) is a Do-It-Yourself tri-monthly Internet publication service of limited edition art. For the service of the arts and the public. It is created with the common purpose of "Art for All" and "All for Art", through the use of the Internet and the borderless consequences of this technological revolution.

For every issue an artist or a group of artists is invited to produce a special art edition for azple.com that is accessible not only in the virtual space of the net but available for everybody everywhere in the world as "real" artwork. All you need to get and collect A–Z public limited editions is to have internet access, an Adobe Reader and a home printer.

You can download the art edition until the next issue of azple.com. The previous edition will then enter the archive department where it can only be viewed but no longer on a downloadable PDF file. Thus the limitation of the edition is not imposed by the artist in advance but by time and the preferences of the audience. There will be just as many editions as there are users who are willing to print them out at home.

With this democratic approach, azple.com aims to challenge not only the question of the original and the value of art but also the growing predominance of the art market which makes it impossible for most people to privately own art works. A–Z public limited editions are free and is worldwide accessible. All the artists invited to collaborate in this project are well aware that the work produced on azple.com will go beyond their expectations and exceed any geographical limitations.

We wish you Happy Downloading!
