Born 1970 in Wattwil, Switzerland of Italian origin. She’s another great artist who belongs to a generation of Secondos living and working in Zürich. Her mix of traditional techniques such as embroidery and use of wax with contemporary images taken from photos of her surrounding environments are the essential characteristics of her work. Her work process whether it be a drawing, wax-relief painting or embroidery is painstakingly long. She cites as influences to these drawings for Azple, Agota Kristof’s ‘Das grosse Heft’.
